Reserved Parking Combat Wounded Opportunity

welcome signThe City now invites business owners to acknowledge and honor the sacrifices made by Purple Heart recipient service men and women by allocating a distinct designated parking space at their business.
Because of the generous donation of 50 signs by Wounded Warriors Family Support , the signs are being offered at no cost on a first-come, first-serve basis to any Fayetteville business owner or owner of a parking lot within the city limits. Each business owner will be responsible for providing a sign post (if needed), hardware and installation. The sign measures 12x18 inches.

Welcome Message

welcome signOne of the most diverse cities in the US, Fayetteville, NC has many awards to its credit and activities for citizens. Fayetteville has won All-America City awards, and honors for the city song "My Hometown Fayetteville" and city show "Kaleidoscope." The sixth-largest city in North Carolina also has numerous historic sites, seven museums, three colleges and universities, multiple entertainment venues, a historic downtown and award-winning golf courses. We're right next door to Fort Bragg and Pope Army Airfield, so we are very military oriented. Immaculate parks and lively recreation centers offer you the chance to experience the outdoors or work on a jump shot. Plus, if you're looking to travel, Fayetteville Regional Airport and Interstate 95 give you many destination options.
