City Manager Dale Iman came to Fayetteville in November 2006 focused on the task of leading the All-America City to new heights. While keeping a steady eye on the big picture, he has worked diligently to transform the City of Fayetteville into a results-oriented organization.
Services such as code enforcement, solid waste pickup, street maintenance, transit and development services have improved. Curbside recycling for residents was implemented in 2008 and has exceeded all expectations. The North Carolina State Veterans Park is under construction and the dedication is being planned for July 4, 2011. This project will provide an impressive gateway into the heart of the city and draw an estimated 250,000 visitors annually. Fayetteville’s first public downtown parking deck is scheduled to be built soon and more exciting projects are on the horizon.
